Cultural Resources Management
BonTerra Consulting has recently added Cultural Resources Management
(CRM) to its broad base of environmental services. The CRM Division
Services provides expert archaeological field surveys and property
assessments, test excavations to evaluate archaeological sites,
and construction monitoring to comply with common mitigation requirements.
Also provided are non-survey constraints analyses for properties
under consideration for purchase and development, coordination with
reviewing agencies at local, state, and federal levels, and Native
American consultation. In addition, services in the related disciplines
of architectural history (buildings) and paleontology (fossils)
are available through highly qualified associates. BonTerra Consulting's
CRM services and products are designed to meet the requirements
of CEQA , NEPA, and Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation
Act (NHPA). The Division of CRM Services is headed by a Registered
Professional Archaeologist (RPA) qualified under federal standards
set by the Secretary of the Interior for professional archaeological
investigations.
