Air Quality, Greenhouse Gas, and Noise Analyses
BonTerra Consulting provides air quality, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions/climate change, and noise and vibration technical analyses for projects of all sizes. BonTerra Consulting staff members use the most recent versions of air quality and noise computer models, including URBEMIS, EMFAC, ISCST3, and AERMOD for air quality and Sound 32/2000 and the Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA's) Traffic Noise Model (TNM) for noise assessments. We have the expertise and necessary equipment to perform noise monitoring, which enables our staff to prepare short-term construction and long-term operational impact assessments to meet the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), FHWA/California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), and other applicable agencies. BonTerra Consulting staff members closely monitor regulatory updates and methodologies—including impact analyses, methods for quantifying GHG emissions, and mitigation strategies—in order to address the rapidly changing topic of global climate change. As air quality, climate change and noise impacts are analyzed, BonTerra Consulting staff members work closely with clients to develop impact-reducing design and abatement measures that enhance project value.
